Dr Vered Schildkraut is a Melbourne trained paediatric gastroenterologist and endoscopist. Dr Schildkraut has graduated The Bruce Rappaport Faculty of Medicine in Israel (BSc, MD) followed by general paediatric training (completed in Israel in 2001 and in Australia, FRACP in 2008).
Speciality training in paediatric gastroenterology was undertaken in Israel and completed at The Royal Children's Hospital and Monash Children's Hospital in 2010 (RACP SAC recognition in paediatric gasteroenterology).
Dr Schildkraut holds joint appointments as a Senior Staff Specialist in the Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Medical Centre. She is board certified for paediatric upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy and performs procedures at the Royal Children's Hospital, Monash Children's Hospital and in Cabrini Private Hospital.
Dr Schildkraut manages infants, children and adolescents with a variety of gastrointestinal and nutritional problems, including constipation, coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome and inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr Schildkraut consults at Moorabbin Specialist Centre on a Wednesday morning monthly.
